Ingredients Method Ingredients Mixed Green Salad 4 cups fresh salad greens such as red or green leaf lettuce, baby spinach, watercress, rocket or a combination of any Handful of fresh herbs, optional Salad Dressing ⅓ cup olive oil 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 cloves of garlic, minced Salt and pepper to taste Method 1.Clean, trim and tear the salad leaves into bite-sized pieces. Place in a wide, shallow salad bowl. 2.Prepare the salad dressing by placing all the ingredients into a screw top jar. Shake vigorously. 3.Drizzle salad leaves with the salad dressing and toss to coat. Vary this recipe by adding cucumber, tomatoes, fresh herbs, avocado, grated beetroot, carrot strips or zucchini shavings to the lettuce mix.
